Mick Lloyd has maintained a strong presence in Nashville as a successful Record Producer, Arranger, and Songwriter. Mick began his Music career as a Recording Artist with such labels as Musicor, GRT, and Springboard. He later moved into producing, songwriting, publishing, and licensing, both on a domestic and international level. Among the artists he has produced are Johnny Lee, Slim Whitman, Reigning Mercy, former Statler Brothers member Lew DeWitt, and international artists from Canada, Australia and The Netherlands. As a Songwriter, he has had his compositions recorded by Dave & Sugar, John MacNally, and many international acts such as The Star Sisters and Smokie. One of Mick's compositions was the Grand Prize Winner of the 2000 South Pacific International Song Contest in Australia, and he was the Grand Prize winner of the Best Song Award at the Cavan, Ireland Song Contest. Mick previously served as General Manager of Advantage/PolyGram Records in Nashville. His music career has been the subject of feature articles in such publications as Billboard, Songwriter's Digest, Tunesmith, and Canada's RPM.
