Compendia Music Group Signs Distribution Deal With Koch International Canada

NASHVILLE, TN - (May 9, 2002) Compendia Music Group has signed a three-year Canadian distribution deal with Koch International, Inc.; Michael Olsen, COO of Compendia Music Group, made the announcement. The agreement, effective July 1, names Koch International Canada as the exclusive distributor of all Compendia Music Group product in Canada.

Nate Wolk, vice president of sales and distribution for Compendia Distribution Group, said, "The enthusiasm and professionalism I recently saw at the Koch/Canada National Meeting just reinforces our decision to partner with them in Canada. We're delighted to be able to bring the Compendia Music Group catalog outside of our borders - we look forward to a fruitful relationship with Koch International Canada."

We expect to have a great deal of success with the 'Sir George Martin Presents' enhanced CD series. The enhanced CD provides two ways for the consumer to enjoy the 'Sir George Martin Presents' series. When played in a compact disc player, the CD contains classical compositions personally selected by the famed producer, and performed by London's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. When the CD is played in a computer, the consumer can listen to the music while accessing video interviews with Sir George as he gives details about the featured composers and compositions, personalizing the commentary by relating it to his work and career. We think it's a delightful project, and will be a treat for Beatle fans and classical music fans alike."
