RiZen Performs At The 2^nd Annual Central South Conference in Atlanta, Georgia

NASHVILLE, TN - (October 13, 2003) Chez Musique/Light Records retro gospel girl group RiZen turned in another stellar performance at the 2^nd Annual Central South Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.  The quartet brought the crowd to its feet as they performed “Lift Up Jesus”, “Trust and Never Doubt” and “View the City” from their recently released self-titled debut album.  The industry crowd continued to stand on their feet, clap and bang tambourines long after Rizen had left the stage.

RiZen’s crowd-pleasing energy and sound are reminiscent of the girl groups of the 60’s such as The Caravans, which launched the careers of gospel music legends Shirley Caesar and Albertina Walker, among others.  The onstage energy and gustiness of RiZen’s live show has been compared to that of the young Aretha Franklin with a twist of early Tina Turner and a new millennium attitude.
